*I don't have a clue .......What about the forest near the village that Eragon lived? I think that was the beor mountains *

Veloce was puzzled, thought about it,gave up and shrugged. Ammy snorted, amused for some reason. Veloce heaved herself into the saddle and took off, following Reptan and Viper.

*Mistress is an elf, but she was raised by humans. The beor mountains are a long wayt away from palancar valley. The spine was the mountain range near Eragon's home.*

"Urgals? Organised?" Mistress said in panic.

*i thought like eragon lived near the spine, yeah lets go with like a mainly human city in the beor mountains*

viper landed smoothly outside the goveners hut, reptan climbed off her back and ran into his hut. what he saw shocked him, the govener lay dead on the floor, blood coming from his chest and his eyes staring vacantly into the distance, reptan cursed. the urgals were organised, in huge numbers and attacking tactically, someone wanted this town dead very badly, fortunatley there were many riders in the air, he ran outside and saw veloce coming towards him on ammy.

*ahh my bad, i haven't read the books in a while *

Ammy hovvered in the air, watching what was going down.Ammy,go downVeloce said.
Wait one moment...Ammy surveyed the area with her green-orb like eyes.
"Ammy!Oh nevermind!"Veloce stood up on the saddle,balencing herself.
What are you doing!?Ammy asked, surprised.
Veloce didn't answer.Instead she jumped a good 25 feet towards the ground.She landed next to Reptan, crouched on the ground before getting up and flicking her black hair back behind her."Much better."Ammy swooped down and landed beside her.
What did you think you were doing?!Ammy snapped.
I've done it a million of times....Veloce retorted.Just not from that high...and not from a dragons back....she thought."Reptan...Why do you think the urgals attacked? Do they want this place or something?"she asked.

reptan turned to her, "i don't know, but they're attacking with strategy, they've eliminated the leader and i bet the attack itself is going to be organised. i don't know who wants it or why but we have to defend this town" he said. he looked up at the town bell and raised his hand up to it, then muttered an incantation, the bell started chiming and people started rushing out of their homes. he looked at the people massed before him "good people, this village is going to be attacked by an army of organised urgals, i wont keep anything and tell it to you straight, the leaders dead and that means that we're probably surrounded already, try to run and you'll be picked off" he paused, "we need to barricade the town and arm ourselves, otherwise we're all dead and whoever wants your land will have it" he said, he looked to veloce," we should start preparing" he said.

Ammy snorted,Urgals attacking with a strategy...pfft...
Veloce nodded,"How many urgals do you reckon there are?"she asked him.

reptan thought for a moment "i don't know the exact numbers, i don't think the urgal did, but its probably somewhere between 500 and 2000, but it think it could be thousands if reinforcements come from other urgal tribes". he turned back to the chattering audience "there will be many urgals, so we need to start felling trees to make fortifications, there are riders here so it isn't hopeless, we can win this if we pull together, and we need weapons" they had five days to prepare a good defence, he didn't know what the outcome would be, but he would fight to the end if need be.

"Right,everybody stand in a line,I have some weapons here!"Veloce ordered.She went to Ammy and heaved a huge bag of her side.She then started giving out axes,short swords and knives to as many people as there were weapons."Reptan, i'll make some weapons if we run short."As well as a skilled fighter,Veloce was a rather good blacksmith and with ammy's fire and her magic, she could easily make something.

reptan smiled slightly, "and im a good fletcher" he said, so now they were armed with metal, but he could provide missile weapons. he walked over to his own hut where he slept, it had many bows and quivers full off arrows. he sat down and finished some more arrows and another bow before running out with a load of bows, arrows and spears. he turned to veloce, "what i do when im not training" he said and laid down the assortment in front of him, then turned to the crowd. "fortunatley, we have a skilled blacksmith who has armed you all with hand-to-hand weapons. Also, if you are skilled with a bow or spear, then come forward and take what you need, if there are any left the rest of you can help yourselves to them." a bunch of people moved forward and took something from the new pile, leaving only a few left, which some less experianced people took.

Mistress and Bjartskular suddenly came came out of nowhere, huffing and puffing. "Urgals... chasing us... organised!" Mistress stuttered. They've surrounded this village. Bjartskular added.

reptan turned to the young girl, "you're gunna need to learn how to fight" he picked up a short sword and flipped it so he was grabbing it by the flat of the blade, the handle towards the girl. "whats your name" he said to her, hand still outstretched with the sword in it.

Shay hovered far above the other Riders, watching a large urgal army approach. She flinched, as a vivid memory shot through her of her parents being slewn by Urgals. She landed near the Riders, and dismounted off Fafnir, unsheathing her blood red sword, Wyrda.
"Hey. Need any help? There's at least a hundred of the things." She asked quickly. She positioned herself into a fighting position.
*Shay is half human half elf. She's hated a lot because she is a half-blood.*

reptan looked up, "they're coming now!?" he cast out his mind, there wern't any nearby, "they're waiting for reinforcements, it'll be organised" he muttered. he turned to the crowd, "right!, we need to do this properly, archers get to vantage points in windows on the upper floors of houses and on rooftops, everyone else make sure your blades are sharp and practise with them, just don't hurt each other". he looked to shay "we need all the help we can get" drawing his own sword, gleaming a beautiful dark green.

Shay looked at Wyrda and Reptans sword, along with their dragons, and smirked.
"Contrasts, one and different." She said softly, as Urgals approached. Fafnir roared and swept his barbed tail along the ground, clearing it of plants and kicking up dust.

reptan realised something, "this isn't the main attack, there might be a hundred now, but its a probe attack, testing for weaknesses...this could work in our favour" he said thinking fast "if we make it so that it seems unorganised and make one spot of weakness, seem to only just fend them off, then next time they try the same place we could concentrate fighting there, like a bottleneck" he looked at shay "next time, we could have dragon there to burn a load of them"

Shay nodded at Reptans suggestion.
"Yeah...but Fafnir can't breath fire yet." She said. She looked at Viper.

*lets like, wait for mistress and wolfgirl, its moving a little fast*

reptan turned and looked at viper, and if not viper then ammy might.

"Ammy can breath fire,"Veloce said.She unsheathed a sword from behind her back.It was big sword with a wide,blue blade and pummel wth a golden sun in the middle."What about an ambush?But i'm guessing that might not work seeing as there are alot of urgals...."

*okay, i think you know this but veloce is elf *

reptan nodded, "yes, we make a barricade, but weaken some of it, the probe attack finds the weakness and we seem like we can barely fend them off, then when they send their main attack and their troops come through the same way we'll have a few suprises for them" he said. he looked at the swords, his green one, veloces blue one and shays red one, he had a flashback of the same three swords "do we know each other from somewhere?" he asked.

Veloce shrugged,"You two seem to know me...I do not know you...well not properly, and nor do I remember you..."She looked up, the sun was setting.Her hair shimmered for a minute befor eturning silver-white.It was one of those things that she didn't have a clue why it happened.

Shay bowed her head for a moment.
"I don't know how but I recognise you two from somewhere, sometime. I'm not sure." She said softly. Fafnir grunted. He remembered, but he wasn't ready to revela his information just yet.
"They come!" Shay called, as she looked up to the army of Urgals charging towards them.

Veloc nodded and stared at the thousands of figures rushing at the town, runnig down the hills.In one hand she held her blue sword and in the other her white staff.
"Get ready..."she murmured.

Shay stood next to Fafnir who crouched down on his forelegs. He was a sturdy beast, big and strong. He was one of the strongest dragons, but he had a weakness- In a training session he had been injured, and now flew slowly and lopsidedly.

The sun, which had been shinig in the sky now clouded over, thunder and lighting flashed in the sky. It was like the evil empire had even blakened the world. Ammy winced, it was strange but when she roared she could seem to summon the sun...She was somehow linked to the sun.....Suddenly the urgals attacked, rushing straight into the wall of people. Veloce blocked an attack with the flat of her sword, wheeled the sword aroudn before sliing the urgals head clean off. Ammy roared and pushed off into the sky, knocking a group of urgals away with a swipe of her tail in the process.Veloce gritted her teeth and prayed ammy would be okay. She had faith in her, she was a very strong, swift dragon with unuasually stronger firepower that other dragons.

Fafnir hoisted himself onto his back legs, and pounded the ground, sending tremors through the earth. Some urgals toppled over, others stood their ground. Shay ran into the battle. She was pressed back by the sheer amount of enemies, and hoisted herself onto Fafnir, holding the crest at the top of his head. She and he became one. It was their claws which impaled urgals, their sword which whirled above their heads, their spear which was hurled like a javelin into the fray.
