Nymph royalty

Bearberry was flapping his wings as best he could but the others were a little too fast. He saw them and gained speed.
"Sorry about that," he said.

"Hey! Everyone! I reconise this place! It's a mayjor city! Full of crime and everything. Here's where we can put our training to the test! Remember, do not use too much element power but rely on the forbidden arts! Oh, and we'll need disguises and fake names. Come on. Let's make some!"

*Forbidden arts is basically magic. It is forbidden to nymphs and commonly used by sorcerers. Using them is a big deal. The training is actually self-defence in the form of element powers.*

Linnac was so afraid that she began to visibly shake. She landed in a clearing half a mile away from the city. "First we think of superhero names. Then disguises to match. Who's with me!?!"

"YEAH!" Ashe yelled, grinning. She backflipped in midair.
"I am Halfangel! From the midst of time, an angel flies!" She yelled.

"Hey! I've got an idea. We can be partners! If you want to. My wings are black so I could be dark angel! We still need disguises. If possible everyone sticks together. If not, we go in partners to help people. If there is even more accidents, we'll go alone."

Fickle refused to land. He was in a sour mood still, and didn't feel like stopping. But also...he didn't want to get lost either, so he just flew in circles above them all.

"I don't want to be a superhero now," he scowled. He didn't want to save anything, he'd rather burn things at the present moment in time.
"Still," he muttered, hi wings glistening in the early morning sun. "Firefly has a nice ring to it."

"Don't worry! Stupid flea-bitten rascal! I'll think of something." In truth her mind was blank, but she hated letting anyone down. However, she did like calling Fickle names.
" How about this. We catch villans. You give them a blast. They won't do crimes again in a hurry!"

Fickle smiled, but he tried to hide it.

"Not flea-bitten-rascal," he said slyly. "Firefly!"

He blew fire from his finger like it was a blow torch.

"I prefer calling you baby." She grinned then blushed realising what it could be confused as. She coughed."So, does that mean you're in?"

Fickle lay back, still flying and put his arms under his head.
"Suppose," he winked.

Linnac flew up and accidently on purpose flew straight into Fickle. Oops. She'd gotten their wings tangled up.

"Oi get off..." Fickle blushed, trying to pull away. "Ow, ow, ow, ow, ow, ow."

He tried to reach behind him and pull his wings away but he couldn't reach them, they where too small.

"You get off me!" She tried getting untangled but her feathers were trapped in his scales. They plummeted into a tree. Unfortunately, they landed in a very embarrassing position.

Steam started to rise from Fickle's hai.r He jumped up and walked off a little way, hiding his face.
"W-what the hell did you do that for?" he stammered loudly.

"It wasn't my fault. I just wanted to head-butt you. Y'know friendly." She brushed herself down. "Some of my feathers came out! Y'know, you've started to steam." Linnac walked over. "Sorry. I just wanted a laugh. Oo. Your hairdo's burst fire."

Fickle touched his head. He'd never been so embarassed that his hair had caught fire before. He bend down next to a puddle and looked at his reflection. He grinned slightly, although his face was still red.

"It looks like how my hair normally does but it's hotter," he laughed.

"Oh no! This is getting ridiculous!" Linnac poked her own hair. It had turned into bright green vines.

"Want me to turn them to charcoal?" Fickle grinned. He clicked his fingers, making a small ball of fire.

Bearberry had landed was watching the Queen and Fickle playing with each other. He then thought about his own disguise.

Ashe had got bored of the stupid pranks between Fickle and Linnac. She flew silently down next to Bearberry, hovering a few feet above the ground.

Bearberry noticed Ashe and smiled.
"Hi Ashe. How are you?" he asked, blushing slightly.

"Same old Same old..." Ashe grumbled. She watched Fickle and Linnac.
"They so fancy esach other. Look, I can SEE the sparks between them. Or maybe that's just Fickle." She grinned, leaning back, and looking at Bearberry, smiling.

Bearberry smiled and nodded at Ashe's statement.
"And us?" he asked, wondered. "What you see between us?"

Ashe flew down next to him, and looked at him enquiringly.
"What do you mean?" She asked, her face colouring slightly, tinting her cheeks. She never expected one of the boys to like her. Her and Fickle, that was shameless flirting, but her and Bearberry...maybe there was something else.

Bearberry started to get nervous and clumsy now.
"W-well, what I m-mean is...that is there a-anything b-between us?"

Ashe smiled warmly. Bearberry was so sweet when he was clumsy.
"Only if you want there to be something...more..." She whispered seductively.
