Nymph royalty

Bearberry listened.
"I've heard that the Superheroes wear weird costumes and assume other names, is this right m'lady?"

"Yup and they wear underwear over their clothes." Ashe giggled, floating higher, and getting stuck in a tree.

"Not all of them. I mean, we can start a new superhero fashion line. Anyway we've got to go. It's getting lighter." Linnac pointed to the sky.

Bearberry nodded and started to go.

"OKAY! LET ME AT 'EM!" Ashe yelled from her tree. She spun out of it, and promptly evaporated.

"Oops! I think we've blown our cover!" Linnac shouted as she hear voices from the castle. "RUN!!!" She jumped into the air and sprouted wings, flying over the coutyard wall. "Come on!" Linnac shouted over her shoulder.

Ashe may have been stupid, but she was loyal. She grabbed the boys hands and dragged them to the wall, leaping and flying over it.

"Fickle! You've got wings! Use them!"

Bearberry got dragged by Ashe as she jumped and flew over walls.
"And what do I have?"

*Bearberry has wings too! Linnac was just picking on Fickle.*

He suddenly remembered. Bearberry sprouted wings and flapped it hurriedly.

Ashe heard the gate open, as a guard stepped out.
"Your royalties!" He called, his voice panicky and afraid. Ashe evaporated....again.

Carrying her rucksack in her arms, she somersaluted over another tall tree in the forest they were escaping through. She was amazed that she was beating Ashe in flight. Ashe was an air nymph! "Slow coaches! They'll catch us!"

Bearberry laughed and leaped over the panicked the guard. He then followed his Queen.

" Oh, go fry yourself!" Ashe yelled, appearing from nowhere, and speeding past Linnac. She glided through the forest.

She looked back. "Ashe?" She called stopping in midair. "Ashe!" She became worried but didn't move apart from flapping her wings.

*She didn't see Ashe speed past her.*

"Ahaahahaha" Manical laughter came from ahead of Mistress.

*Lady Linnac!*

She jumped. Oh, Ashe was ahead of her. "Didn't see you there! Come on, take Fickle's arms, I'll take his legs. Let's teach him a lesson! He isn't using his wings!" She grabbed Fickle's legs.

"Shut up ugly!" Fickle barked, forcing out his little wings. He was a little self concious of them being so small, but secretly he loved their shimering red scales. *scales, feathers, leathery. Whatever it's a wing right?*

He blew a little ball of fire towards Linnac, but would make sure it didn't burn her if it got too close.

"Awww come on slowpokes!" Ashe yelled happily, before flying higher into the sky, and out of sight.

Linnac dodged the fire ball, it came an inch too close to her feathery wings, then sent vines to tangle Fickle's wings. Then she speeded up next to Ashe. "Where's Bearberry?"

"Back there, methinks." Ashe replied. She halted in midair,seeing the human town.

Linnac had spotted it too. "Oops. I think we were flying a little too fast. Let's wait for the others to catch up." Now she was afraid.

Fickle went as red as his spikey hair and burned the vines to dust in an instant. He flew off to the side and sulkily sped off ahead of them.
