Beast Tamer

Shasi took the offense for herself and raced neck and neck to the basilisk almost knocking Sashi off her back. "Woah! Help! Please slow down! Help!" The bicorn then decided to take off, flying into the very very wet clouds then touching back down beside the basilisk. As they continued to race, Sashi started screaming.

Black wasnt sure if Shasi was enjing herself or not, but she held back with Kai. "you now kai" she said sadly "i cant help but feel that i wake up soon and this would have been all a dream"

Sashi felt really scared. She'd never traveled as fast as she remembered. She continued screaming then stopped abrubtly as she started slipping.

Black flew up to sashi side "you ok" she called, the horses was quite fast.

With massive effort, Saracen stopped the leviathan from moving anywhere.

The bicorn brought itself to an abrupt halt and Sashi was flung off her back. She landed at he base of a tree. "I feel seasick." She murmured and retched. "I don't ever want to race again." she said standing up and then falling.

Kai and the gryphon landed gracefully.
"Are you alright, Sashi?" he asked.

"To my knowledge, I've never ridden a horse before. I feel better now. Ahh! Another crack." Sashi and Shasi jumped to the side narrowly avoiding it. "Shall we get moving?"

Black fly up into the air more "where are we going?" she asked

Kai and the gryphon soared into the air.
"I guess we go to the old man, to find out about the Tamers," he said.

Saracen lead Saix to a place on the outskirts of town. It was old, and rundown.

black folowd "wow, i forget how bad some plases are here"

"He lives here on purpose. Keeps the people, and therefore, soldiers, away." Saracen explained. She rapped her knuckles on the door.
"Awright, awright already!" Someone snapped from inside. The door creaked open, and a man staggered out.
He was about sixty, and looked it. His white hair and beard was matted with grime and filth. Flies buzzed around his scalp. His eyes were bloodshot, and he smelled of booze and beer. Saracen recoiled slightly.

Kai and the gryphon were still aloft when the old man came out. The smell was awful, made him want to gag and retch.

Black had to cover her moth to stop herself burting out somhing

"Are you... Kaelos by any chance?" Saracen asked holding her nose. The old man nodded.
"Whut of it?" He asked hoarsely, his voice like grating stone. Saracen got the urge to punch something. But she smiled falsely at him.
"We want to know about the Tamers." She explained. The old mans eyes widened.
"No...don't know nufin'. S'all gone now...noone wants it anymore...Specially not kids like you..." Kaelos mumbled drunkenly. Saracen felt a rush of anger and she grasped the old mans shirt collar, and pinned him to the wall.
"TELL US ABOUT THE FRICKIN' TAMERS OLD MAN, OR I'LL SHOVE THAT BEER BOTTLE UP YOUR NOSE POINTY END FIRST!" She yelled.

"hay!" black soted and sort of fell off her dragon, she arkly made her way over. "im the one that loses it, not you"
she deside to try the same tatic but her was more ful of cursing then anything.

Kai just stared calmly, trying not to breathe in that horrid smell.

Sashi decided that it would be a good time to start playing her flute. She knew a tune that soothed and lulled people gently. She was only just beggining to discover the affectit had on people's minds. She played a song of loss and sadness. Then a piece about forgiveness, openess and sleep. Sashi soon realised she'd played the wrong song.

Black look behind to sashi "what are you playing?" she ask sleeply

Sashi continued playing. Maybe the music put her under a spell, but she couldn't stop. "Mmptf!" She trieed to speak as she panicked and tried to catch someone, anyone's attention.

Kai had almost fallen asleep under the spell of the beautiful music. He was going to fall off the gryphon when he checked himself and was instantly awake.
"Stop playing!" he yelled.

"Kfmpt!" Mistress tried to say, she couldn't stop. She just kept playing the flute that was now stuck to her lips. She wondered how she could play with the instrument right up against her lips. Then it was gone. A breif flash of pain circled her throat, but the flute was gone, instead, she sang the same note as the flute, sounding exactly like the flute. She stopped, "What the..." her voice had changed. Her voice was smoother and higher. She'd swallowed the reed flute.
