Merfolk

"We are not children!" snapped Sam. Sighing sadly, he followed Skye and Omeris. He looked to Nightlife sadly.

"Stop here." Omeris said in a low voice. Skye stopped, her heart saying only of defeat.
Suddenly, she had a rush of adrenaline, and pulled away from Omeris. She swam as hard as she could, pushing herself. She saw the circle of light above her head growing bigger and bigger, until she broke the surface. She heard the gulls screeching above her, and swam to the shore. Once there, she pulled her upper body onto dry land.

"finaly!" nightlife said exitld and swam after her. she new skye would soon find the corage to escape

"Here we go again!" said Sam and swam after the two girls.

She slowly poker her head out the woter and called to skye "how we gonna chag to human"

Sam surfaced beside Skye and Nightlife.
"We have to hurry. Omeris will surely tell King Triton," he said.

Skye was finding it strangely hard to breathe on land.
It wasn't long before she heard a voice, singing. A voice she recognised.
A woman, with long red hair, came strolling down to the shore. Ariel.
"Ariel!" Skye gasped the womans name, barely able to breathe. Ariel turned at the sound of her voice. She stopped singing, and saw the three merfolk. She gasped.

"um, hello" nigtlife stamer unsur of wwhat to say

Sam marvelled at Ariel's beauty. He was finding it hard to breathe too. He kept having to gasp for breath.
"Hi," he gasped.

Ariel ran to the beachside, and checked the friends over.
"What are you doing?" She asked hurriedly.
"I want to be a human..." Skye trailed off, feeling her lungs collapsing inside her.
"Why? You guy's better get back in the water. You'll dry up." Ariel ordered. She helped Skye back in, where she took a deep breath of sea-oxygen, before bobbing up again.

Nightlife perd uderr the woter "he coming!" and she puld herself to skye

"Who is?" asked Sam getting pushed into the water by Ariel.

"Omeris" Skye said quietly, noticing the familiar figure.
"Listen, Skye! Don't go seeking Oceanis, you don't know how cruel Sea-Witches are!" Ariel cried, before running to a young, black haired girl. Her daughter.

"I don't understand. Why doesn't Ariel want us to become humans?" Sam asked, puzzled.

"i dont now but we beter move, fast" Nightlife dove into the woter pling sam by the hand.

Sam got dragged under by Nightlife and just had time to grab Skye's hand and pull her under too.

" come to my cave" she hissed and swan as fast as she could to hide from ornmis

Sam swam after Nightlife, pulling Skye with him.

Nightlife swan into her cave wich was just outsid of the king land and so outnof any dager. she rusd sam and skye insid and pull some kelp ovr the entace.

"hid at the back" she wisperd and watede for ormis to come

Skye heard Oremis come to Nightlifes cave. She realised that she was gripping Sams hand, and let go, her cheeks going pink.

Sam smiled as Skye let go of him. He put a finger to his lips, signifying silence.

"Now then, young rogue, I trust you haven't seen the youngsters?" Oremis said gruffly to Nightlife.

"maybe" she smiled chekly lookig to the serfis. "why shold i tell you?"

Sam hoped that Nightlife was able to throw Omeris off trail for a while.

Omeris coughed twice, uncomfortable at the young mermaids cheekiness. He had no authority over her, seeing as she had outcasted herself(?).
"As the kings head of guard, I have every right to know, madam." He said, trying to keep his temper.
