Merfolk

Sam went scarlet in the face as Skye mentioned that. He was holding his breath. Once he had calmed down he nodded and sighed.

"It's our only choice. We have to go to her." Skye said. She swam away, going to go Whale Dancing near the Up world.

Samari looked to see if any Merfolk were looking and then gestured for Nightlife to follow. He then followed Skye. He couldn't help but feel that something wrong was going to happen.

"this will be fun" she said sactily and swan infont of sam to cach up with skye

Skye held her hand up at her friends as she saw a whale up ahead, with a young calf. She herself made a whistle, mimicking the mammal. The whale groaned back at her, in response. Slowly, Skye swam forwards, flicking her tail gently. She swam closer to the humpback, as it arched its body.
She twisted around it, beginning the dance. The calf pressed close against its mother, as they spiralled towards the shadow of a boat on the surface. They broke the surface for a second, and the sweet air dazed Skye for a moment. A fisherman saw her, and yelled in a crude language to his friends, but it was too late. Skye had gone again. She carried on dancing, as though mesmerised.

Nightlife stop, she didnt want to do wale daning. looking arond she saw it, a shark...

Sam stopped when he saw the boat and shark. His face then looked determined. He had to get Skye out of here.
"Nightlife, get outta here!" he yelled at her as he raced past to get Skye.

She sped over to the shark she was going to dance with that, it wasnt as big as she fist thogt but itwould do.
"Come on sharky!" she calld and thow hersdel out the woter wih the shark on her tail.

Sam stared in amazement as Nightlife threw herself out of the water with a shark on her tailfin. Same gritted his teeth in annoyance and followed after his friends.

Skye felt like she was in a trance, as the whale turned. She vaguely noticed Nightlife, shark dancing. She knew that shark dancing was forbidden too, as it was dangerous. She spun away, back to the depths of the ocean, as the humpback turned to feed on a swarm of plankton. She laughed, her voice melancholy.
Suddenly, from the corner of her eye, she saw The Sea King, Triton,(OOC: I presume he didn't die, even though he was turned into a slug )BIC:
Triton looked furious at the young merfolks actions. With his powerful blue tail, he paddled after Sam, over taking him.
"You-Get Nightlife!" He called. He himself swam towards the dazed Skye, and gripped her shoulder. He gave a moan, sending the whales away, before facing Skye. She gulped. She was in big trouble now.

*He got turned back and met his granddaughter, Melody in Little Mermaid 2*

Sam gulped and swam after Nightlife. The shark was still chasing her so Sam gripped the tail and swung it off course.
"Nightlife, come on. King Triton is furious!" he called before swimming back.

*At least he's not dead!*
Triton steered Skye back to Atlantica Palace. She kept her head bowed, as people around them stared at her, wondering what she'd done wrong. When they got to his Palace, King Triton swam to his throne.
"You were looking for trouble." He sighed wearily.
"But, sir-"
"No buts Skye! I've had enough of your insolence. You are not to go near the surface world. Ever. I'll be placing a strict watch on you." Triton declared.
"B-but, your Majesty,..." Skye was at a loss for words.

Nightlife was now for not obin orders and contiud to sim with the shark. beside she livd alone in a cave, with her own rules.She laug an jump out the woter and back in takng a ride on the shars waves.

Sam swam into the palace and into the King's Throne Room.
"Your Majesty, I'm sorry," he said.

Triton and Skye glanced up, as Sam entered.
"Sam..." Triton said wearily, "I don't know what you were doing out there, but-"
"Sir, it was my fault. Don't blame the others. I...I wanted to see the surface! I wanted to know why Ariel liked it so much that she wanted to live up there!" Skye burst out, unable to contain herself. A look of sadness passed over Tritons worn features at the mention of his now-human daughter. But it soon turned to anger and fear.
"Skye, just because Ariels husband is nice to merfolk, doesn't mean that they all like us. You should know this! They'd have you in a cage sooner than look at you!" He announced, his face crinkled in a frown.

Samari was afraid for Skye and Nightlife.
"Your Majesty, please don't punish us!" he said. "We didn't mean to."

Triton looked at Sam angrily.
"None of you will go to the surface world! Ariel did it for love! there are plenty of young mermen and maids out there for you." He said. Skye snarled in anger.
" But I AM in love! I love the surface, and men with tans and...and... OILY BEARDS!" She said in frustration.

"But Sire, how can you not trust us? We'll be extra careful," Sam insisted. Sam had a secret. He had seen an Up girl and thought she was beautiful. Also, like Ariel he had collected human things but knew the proper names for them.

"I've said, Samari, NO. That is my final word on the matter. Now leave here. Skye, Omeris will escort you around now. We cannot trust you. As for Nightlife... She will have to mind herself. And don't even think about seeking out Oceala, the Sea Witch. She was banished for a reason." Triton said sternly. A burly merman, with a yellow tail swam over, with a coral club. He took Skye's arm and, with a longing, almost fearful, glance back at Sam, they left.

Sam sighed and quickly followed Skye and Omeris. Why didn't Triton understand?

Nightlife love sharks, she finesd dancing with them and swanm away withot a scrah on her. she saw sam and skye and went over "you in troble?"

"The King says that we are to never go to the surface world..." Skye said miserably, stopping for a second, causing Omeris to jerk her arm painfully.

nightlife noded "you shold live like me, alon. you make your own rules" she said slitly sadly.

"She is punished. Merfolk should abide by King Tritons rules." Omeris waved his coral club in Nightlifes face.
"Please do not be speaking to the child, ma'am."

nightlife look blakly at him "whatever" and stay were she was will skye was taken away.
