Vampyrs

"Skyward. That's weird." Swasis grumbled. She'd wanted to see the ship.

"Eh?"Tempest looked at Swasis for a minute,"I'm guessing that you wanna see me ship savvy? Well you can flit right?It could be a problem getting to The Horizon if you can't."

*Flit? Does that mean fly?*

*I think it means run fast.*

*I'll ask.*

*It means run fast, so fast that humans can't see you*

"Yes I can flit. It's a basic skill." Swasis said reluctently. She always got dizzy.

"Good!"Tempest grinned,"Then we'll be on our way!"he sarted off at a slow jog which then turned into a run which turned into a sprint which finally turned into a flit.

Swasis went straight into a flit. She might as well get it over with.

Tempest flitted past the sea and finally came to a lagoon.There infront of him was his ship. It was a 32 cannon frigate with blood red sails, one of which had a setting sun on it and on its flag was the unmistakable skull and cross bones, with the exception of the fact that the skull had fangs.

Swasis stopped beside Captain Tempest. "She's beautiful." She said.

"Thank ye."Tempest smiled,"Had her for.........140 years now...If you've ever heard the legend of the sea of blood, this is the ship that was in the battle."He gazed at The Crimson Horizon for a while before saying,"Right, I'm guessing that maybe you'll like to look around?"

"Aye, sir." Swasis knew the speech well enough.

"Good, I guessing you know the lingo eh?"Tempest did wait for a reply.Instead he walked towards his ship and climbed up the ladder and onto the Horizon.

Swasis followed swiftly with calm steps. She was glad of her seafaring boots now.If she didn't have them, she'd never be able to stand on deck.

Meanwhile...

"So,what are you two talkin' about with the vamyrs and all?"asked Rath,who was a little confused."Well..."said Lyn."We are Vampyrs!"Florina finished for her."Ahhhhhhhhhhh!"shouted Rath."hey!Don't worry,we don't hurt friends or family!"yelled Lyn and Florina.

Meanwhile, on the ship...

"Capt'n, may I ask who's first mate?" Swasis said, relzing she'd be polite no matter what style she talked in.

"That would be Gibbs,that man o'er there,"Tempest waved vaguley at a short man with black greying hair and a beard who was ordering the crew."Shes a thritytwo gunned, frigate and nigh uncatchable..."

*What's potc?*

"Nigh uncatchable? Has she ever been caught, sir?" Swasisd inclined her head towards Mr Gibbs. "Another question Capt'n. Do you plunder and loot, take what you can and give nothin' back? Basically a' you pirates or vampires who sail under the black?"

"Nope, never been caught..Ever.."Tempest set on answering her next question,"I loot, i plunder and aye, this crew takes what they can and gives nothing back.."He brought out two bottles of blood and tossed one to Swassis,"A toast? Take what you can!"

"Give nothin' back!" Swasis joined in and took a swig of blood. "This 'ere's a mighty fine vessel. I'll be priveliged to sail under your flag. Also Sir, what will be my position in the crew? Mindin' that I never learnt how to bring up the riggin'."
