Evangeline was impressed by Jewels, but she didn't let it show on her face.
"Hm, you are rather talented." She said, studying her black nails. "Oh, dear. My finger paint is chipped ..."
She looked at the two vampyrs almost critically (sp?).
"What are your names?"

"My name's Florina."said Florina,her confidence growing."A..and m...my name's L..l...lyndis."said Lyn shakily."Hey,I have an idea!"shouted Lyn."Uh oh!"said Florina,Lyn's plans always involved something Florina didn't want to do."How about you bite me and turn me into a vampire florina?"Yep there it is.thought Florina."Are you sure Lyn?""'course I'm sure,but you have to drain ALL remember!?"

Evangeline's eyes lit up.
"I can bite you!" She said with an evil grin. What she wouldn't tell them was that she could drain all of the girl's blood and not turn her into a vampyr, she could just kill the girl.
"By the way, I am Evangeline McDowell, Angel of Darkness, Undying Witch, Dark Evangel ... I have many names. Evangeline will do. But not Eva!"

"Well well, look likes theres a bit of a meeting eh?" A voice said aloud from the shadows.A roguish, tall, handsome figure suddenly appeared out of nowhere."Course, I couldn't just barge in without introducing me-self init?The names Captain Tempest Morgan,a Vampirate if ye wanna know"he said, making sure his title stood out." And it looks like i've stumbled upon a group of fellow vampyres!"

Evangeline stared at him and raised an eyebrow.
"Captain? Oh, you do think high of yourself, don't you?" She laughed. "May I ask what business you have here, captain?"

Tempest looked taken a-back and coughed out the swig of rum he had just taken," Yes it is Captain, if you do please, and I have business here, said business being none of your concern... Eva." He brought out a compass, flicked up the cover, looked at it,frowned and tapped the face with one finger.

Evangeline flinched.
"Don't call me Eva, you filthy piece of scum!" She shouted. "Oh, I ought to slit your throat!"
She took a few steps towards him, raising her hand to hit him. She had quite sharp nails, too.

Tempest swung his head to see the girl, Evangeline as she said."Love, cannot yer not see i'm kinda busy at this present moment in time savvy? So neck slitting will have to wait."he continued to tap the face of the compss, watching the needle swing in no apparent direction.

Evangeline didn't much like being called 'love' by him either.
She raised her hand higher and slapped him.
"Shut up you piece of slime! Some vampyr you are! You should be fighting back!"

Tempest staggered back from the blow,"I guess i deserved that one...And why do i need to fight?"he said, rubbing his face. He glared for a while at Evangeline before returning to his compass, tapping it again and again."Ahah!!"he suddenly cried out truiumphantly ,"oh..bugger..."he groaned, face falling.

Evangeline looked curiously at the compass.
What was so special about it? Why was he so obsessed?
She looked over his shoulder at the compass.
"What is it with you and that piece of junk?"

Tempest looked insulted and spun around,"This,"he waved the compass infront of Evangelines face,"is not a piece of junk savvy?"he continued to look at it."Ahah!!"he cried out again, he took a few steps forwards then stopped and checked the compass, tapping it again."No, no...in a that way irection...i don't think so...."he mumbled, randomly pointing in directions, face looking down at the compass.

Eva (right, I'm bloody sick of typing out that name! It's too long! So I'm calling her Eva even though she doesn't like it!) rolled her eyes and tutted.
"All right, what is it with you and that compass, then?"

"Thats for me to know and you to not know savvy?"Tempest said, shrugging. The point on the compass spun around madly in no particular direction"Start working!"Tempest frowned, still tapping at the face.

Eva wanted to hit him again, but she didn't.
"Grr! You're so damned infuriating!" She snapped. "I thought I was bad, but you! You are just plain unbearable!"

"Why, what did I do?" Tempest said, unfazed by Evangelines anger,"And haven't I already said, my business is none of your concern...savvy?And why do you wanna know so much anyway?"

Eva crossed her arms and turned away from him.
"None of your business." She said, a slight ring in her voice.

Tempest shrugged.He pulled out a map from his belt and unravelled it and set it on the ground. He put four stoens at each of the corners to weigh it down and sat down on the ground, studying the map."hmm..."He tapped the compass for what seemed like the billionth time.

Eva was getting too curious.
She sighed and sat down next to him.
"All right, I'm sorry if I insulted you or was mean. Now please tell me what you're doing?"

"Well," he tapped the compass again," I'm searching for soemthing........."he looked up and looked her in the eye,"Can I trust you? I have to know whether I can trust you before I can tell you what it is I searching for."

"No one can trust the great Dark Evangel." She laughed. "But if you give me something good, I promise not to tell a single living soul!" She looked at the vamprys around her and smiled. "I won't tell a dead one, either."

Tempest rolled his eyes and sighed,"Right, I'll give you something if you don't tell anyone.Deal?"he offered his hand.

Eva took his hand and inclined her head once.
"Deal. I won't tell anyone. So, what you gonna give me?"

"Well what do you want?" Tempest asked her,"Anything BUT me ship and the thing i'm searching for."
