The Lynx Warriors

Nukpana ran to acembl with the others, it was geting very nerveraking

The leaders of each tribe came to stand at the front of the massive audience. Hinto's leader stepped forward and started.
"Brothers and sisters, we are gathered here to witness something spectacular. The Ceremony for the Lynx Warriors has come again.

Chua tossed his handsome head arrogantly. He was good looking, and everyone fancied him-especially himself. He knew he would get into the warriors easily as winning a fight with Dirtface.
Sanyu glanced around at the other tribespeople, hardly able to contain her euphoria.

"Now the Warriors will take over the Ceremony," said the leader after he had all that he had needed to say.

Nukpana look to hinto for somesoport, she felt like she might faint

Hinto smiled Nukpana when she looked to him. The Warriors came with their lynxes, which were big. They specifically bred so that if the Warriors got tired then they could ride on them.

They paraded in front of the massive audience, making them entranced. Suddenly they stopped and and stood on the rocks and available grass, all looking very powerful and wise. A man stepped forward.
"Could the children come forward please?" he said. Hinto and several others stepped forward. Hinto waited for Nukpana and Sanyu. Adsila and Chogan stood next to Hinto.

Chua was cheered as he stepped forwards. He smiled. This was gonna be so easy.
Sanyu stood near Hinto, her eyes wide at the sight of the big lynxes. They were so powerful and beautiful.

Nukpana slowly walk forward and stood nere Sanyu, she smaild and sat down as she was geting tird for stading.

"Now, we will have to walk very far for the Ceremony to take place," the man said. "Hopefully, some of you will do better than others." He looked to Chua coldly when he said this. Hinto and his cousins were really nervous.

Chua smirked. The old man wasn't going to put him off beating Dirtface. He didn't really want to be in the Warriors at all. This was just another chance to get one up on his cousin.
Sanyu felt comforted by both Hinto and, to her own surprise, Nukpana's presence was also friendly. Friendlier than Chua's anyway.
**BTW Chua means Snake in S.American.**

The man whistled and several big lynxes leapt down.
"Get on. The ones who have not passed, will be the ones that come back the earliest!" the man announced.

*Uh...what do we do?!!?!?*
Sanyu gazed unsurely at Hinto.

*We get onto a lynx*

Some of the children got onto the lynx but the others hung back, unsure.
"Well, go on! Get on!" the man said.

Nukpana felt relve she didnt have to walk and set onto a lynx wich was supriinly comfy to ride.

The Lynx Warriors got moving instantly. The tribes watched as their offspring went with the Lynx Warriors. Hinto smiled Nukpana and Sanyu.

The Lynxes gait was easy to follow, and the body was soft and firm beneath Sanyu. She closed her eyes slightly, in enjoyment.

Sequoyah had lept onto a lynx and began to ride. Its movement was simaliar to a horse, just not as fast. She rode relaxed and calm upon the strong lynx.

Sanyu had seen another girl, one which she hadn't seen before. She easily steered her lynx across, keeping half an eye on Nukpana and Hinto.
"Hi! I'm Sanyu, who are you?" She asked brightly.
Chua was forcing his lynx into obediance, although it was clear the lynx didn't want it.

"Hi, I'm Sequoyah, Seq for short."Sequoyah smiled."I'm so excited about this."she remarked,"Can you believe that we finally get lynxes!"

Nukpana smiled back to hinto and couldnt belive that her littl lynx kimba would grow to this size.

The Warriors went on for many miles. They stopped when they came to a huge camp.
"We will start the Ceremony tomorrow. For now, have fun!" the man announced.

Nukpana juped of and stubld to to grond, her leg had gone num from the riding, but atlest they had a breck befor to ceromony tomorow.

Hinto guided the lynx he was riding on to Nukpana. He smiled at her.
"You alright?" he asked.
