The Ultimate Sacrifice(Final Fantasy X)

"Cool! Glad for you!" he said. "Come sit down."

Sarys practically fell down next to Erino. She clutched her heart, as she heard a voice say
"We are one"

Erino looked worriedly at her.
"Are you alright?" he asked.

"Yeah...I heard..Skeletus...talking to me." She mumbled.

Erino looked at Sarys.
"Can all Summoners do that?"

Sarys went VERY quiet.
"If Aunt Yuna were here I could ask her... but she's not." It was now that Sarys fought back her tears which threatened to fall.

Erino felt for Sarys. His mother and father had been taken too.
"We'll get them back, promise!"

Sarys lightened up at Erino's confidence. She smiled at her guardian *I really cannot RP with more than two characters, so now YOU are the guardian. Only Rikku/Gippal and Lulu/Wakka have been taken.*
"You're right. We can get them back. I'm a summoner-and I'm Al Bhed! We can do ANYTHING!" She announced. She made to hug Erino, but stopped herself at the last moment. She smiled sheepishly.
"Well then...Let's go." She said.

Erino smiled and nodded. He stood up, looking every inch an guardian and slightly handsome. He flashed another smile and helped his Summoner up.
"Come on, the villagers are waiting!"

Sarys smiled weakly,and was glad of Erinos strong grip, supporting her. She was wary about seeing the villagers again. The harsh sunlight penetrated her eyes and she blinked as they stepped out of the temple.
"Thank you." She whispered in Erinos ear, "For being a guardian...and a friend."

"It's alright. I'll be here for you, always," Erino said. He flashed a smile and picked up his Blitzball. "Come on, the villagers must be worried."

Voices and noise crowded into Sarys' head, each one desperate to be noticed.
"Lady Sarys! Over here!" They yelled to her excitedly, "Was it hard? Whats your aeon?" They called. She pressed her way through th crowd and kept going, all the way to the entrance of the town. Then she turned.
"Villagers of Besaid" She announced, "I leave here today as a summoner. I will bring peace to the people, and to you as well. I shall keep you in my thoughts." She finished softly. She made a prayer, and walked up the hill, knowing it would be a long time before she ever saw Besaid again.

Erino just followed Sarys. He looked back one time before running to catch up to Sarys.
"Will we see them again?"

"Maybe...I don't know. I'll try and come back, no matter what." Sarys replied, smiling at Erino. She reached the Pray Stone, or what was left of it (It's that stone where they pray before leaving Besaid.)
The stone was now a small mound of rubble at the top of the hill. The two green orbs that were set into the stone before it had crumbled, lay in the grass. One was dull, and not so eyecatching as its brother, which sparkled, reflecting the clouds scudding across the sky. Sarys knelt, and picked the shiny one up, rolling it between her palms, liking the feel of the smooth, rounded surface on her hands. She turned to the village, prayed, and looked at Erino.
"Kilika here we come!"

Tanrith watched the girl and the guardian, and felt a curious sense of foreboding. Something was going to happen. Sparks would fly.
He stirred his pool, and focussed on the other two summoners.
One was from Bevelle. A man by the name of Raen, with a flying mind, and two guardians, one his brother and one his girlfriend.
The other was from Guadosalam, one that Tanrith knew well. A male, named Corda, who had four guardians, all family.
What a strange game of chess this was turning out to be.
