The Professor strode into the Hall, the other students instantly fixed their eyes on Black. He went to a stool and a dusty old hat. He beckoned for Black to come forward.

Black look back ugig jet to folow her.

Jet stood around,near enough to the boys so that she didn't get hurt, but far enough so that they didn't feel vulnerable.

The Professor put the hat on Black's head and the hat came alive.
"O, this is easy! Ravenclaw!" it said.

" YES" black shoted loaly in her head and stubld of smiling at sitng wih the oher ravenclaws.

The Professor then went to get the other students.
"We're ready for you now," he said and gestured for them to come in. The first years were amazed at the sky and looked all round.

Jet sighed. She was lying about Gryffindor. She would almost certainly be put into Slytherin, there was too much dark in her for Gryffindor.

The Professor started to call out names and children came and went. Most were in Ravenclaw or Hufflepuff. Three were in Gryffindor and one was in Slytherin. Mo gave a quick wave to Professor McGonagall.

Black was haper to be in Ravenclaw aloht half of her like slivrin but if they were like fergus it woudent be that good. No raven claww was for her.

She love lerning new thigs dispit her ovius reding and riting prolems, she was suprisd the hat put her in. She hopd Jet was with her too.

Then the Professor called out a name.
"Jetster Loki!" he called and lifted the hat, waiting. Mo wondered which one he'd be put in. Would he put be in Gryffindor or Ravenclaw?

*When the Professor calls out my name, could one of you two be the Professor please?*

Black crosed her fingers and wisd for ravenclaw.

The hat pondered for a long time.
"My word... You've a lot of loyalty, for gryffindor...but a lot of intelligence, for ravenclaw...also the hard work for hufflepuff...and an awful lot of darkness inside, for slytherin...where now?" It asked itself. Jet was very aware that it was taking a long time, and that everyone could hear.
"I think..."

She new jet theogt she had darknes in her but most was put on,she nevr last wth slivrth they were so sceeming and tatical.

Mo hoped Jet didn't go to Slytherin. Anywhere but Slytherin.

The hat went silent, and McGonagall pulled it from Jets head with a worried look. She shook the hat, but nothing happened. She and the other teachers went into a conference(sp?).

Mo and Dyel looked at each other worriedly. The girl with the small camera around her neck, Sarah Creevey was at the Gryffindor table.

Black just wach in confuion, some ravenclaws stated mutring amogst temseles abot Black and her presen in the house.

Calust saw an argument break out in carriage near her. She decided to go when it was over. Two people stumbled out and polite chat broke over the remaining students. Oh well might as well go over.
"Hello. To whom may I owe the pleasure of seriously scaring those awful people. May I press my accaintence on this carriage." Then she cursed under her breath. Yet again, her mouth had slipped with words of 'posh people'. "I mean. Who blasted ugly and can I sit down?" There were muffled sniggers. She had alot to learn.
