The professor had the ha in his hands, and he placed it on Dyels head. He was wringing his hands again. Why had he been picked for this job? It wasn't fair, he was new, and he was inexperienced!

"Another Stirm. I know where to put you. GRYFFINDOR!" the hat announced. Dyel smiled and went to the Gryffindor table and sat next to Mo.

The teacher eased the hat onto Mistresses head, and it leapt into life.
"Well well...Do I know you?" It asked her, cocking its tip.

"I don't think you do..." Mistress shivered visibly, then turned bright red as she realised everyone was looking at her. There was a definite downside to being a witch, she was scared of inanimate objects that talked. "Can you please hurry up?" She whispered.

"RAVENCLAW!" the hat bellowed and Mistress quickly took the hat off her heade and practically ran to join the ,now cheering, Ravenclaw table. She'd paled considerably and was now whiter than the ghosts. She turned to watch the rest of the sorting feeling as though a dead weight had been lifted.

Missy (nickname) looked over at the next one to be sorted. She seemed to remember the name 'Robyn' from somewhere. Missy gave Robyn an encouraging smile, hoping that he didn't puke. He did look very nervous after all.

As Robyn walked up to the stool many thoughts were swirling through her head making her think she was goingto explode.What...what if I don't get put in Gryffndor,what if I discrace the Potter name!Oh god!Help! she thought as she sat down on the stool. The hat was placed gently on he head.
"Hmmmmm...do Iknow you?I'm sure I do...Never mind!Let's see now... You ARE difficult one...I've only had one other who was as difficult*Harry!*...Hm...I think..."

PHEW! Robyn thought as she sat down at the Gryfindor table.
