Ebony stared at her ceiling. The rain had stopped quite a while ago; around the same time as the party had finished.
Funny thing that, a party because someone died. She sat up and gazed at the moon. Why did she feel so empty inside? She didn't know any of this land it didn't feel like where she was from. But then again...it wasn't really. Quirk had told Ebony that her mother had been a sky pirate, and so Ebony had been born amongst them and lived there. Until that was she was taken away.

But Ebony had been far to young to remember. She got out of bed and opened her window, sneaking out and running towards the forest. She called for Myth, who swooped down almost immediately. She stroked his muzzle and leant her head again it.
She needed someone to confide in.

*yeah. that was just not right in an rp* *are we still in a videogame?*

*Hey it is an RP! At least we didn't mention it! Would you have preferred the detail?*
Swiftfoot decided to tell Moonchild something that had been playing on her mind.
"Hey, Moonchild. I get the feeling that this is not our true world...what about you? I have memories which have nothing to do with this place..." She whispered, staring up at the stars.

Moonchild looked to Swiftfoot.
"I agree. Sometimes, I don't know the people around me," he said.

"And my father. He seemed so...different to who I remembered, more regal and authoritive." Swiftfoot went on, although as she spoke of Dragonfang, her eyes watered.
"In the other place. Do you think we knew each other?Maybe we were a couple there? Oh, I'm so confused..."
There was a sudden bang, and a tree fell down meters away from them. Swiftfoot shot to her feet, and fell down again, dizzy from the sudden change of height. She got up more slowly, as she unsheathed her sword. At firelight, four men walked out from the gloom.
One of them was Redscale, a terrible smirk on his face.
The other three were Sky Pirates.

*COUGH COUGH* and you still mentioned it happening. Can't believe you'd even do that in an rp...


Myth turned his head violoently. Ebony looked up slowly.
"Did you hear that?" Myth asked. Ebony nodded. Myth might have acute hearing, but it had been relatively close.
She jumped on his back. He didn't have his saddle or reins on, and she didn't have her armour. However, Ebony carried her daggers with her everywhere, and Myth was fine like this.
They soared off.

Moonchild shot into the air. He prepared a spell in his mind, in case they decided to attack.
"Why did you do that?" Moonchild, angry.

"Moonchild-You are under arrest for treason." Redscale said smoothly, then he turned to Swiftfoot, "Yours is a different offence. You are to be banished for murdering your father." He said. Swiftfoot gaped at the man.
"How did you work that one out?" She asked disbelievingly. Redscale laughed.
"Oh, it wasn't hard. Flying with the behemoth past your father, perhaps baiting it to him? You show no sadness, au contraire, you show happiness, at what should be a terrible day for us all.
The Sky Pirates will take over this barren land. They will destroy Silboria-They will save it! And I shall be there, in the midst, ready to rise as the new leader." He explained. He clicked his fingers, and a Sky Pirate Mage(Witch) cast binds at the two. Swiftfoot found herself gagged. She struggled, but to no avail.
One of the Sky Pirates shot a flare into the air, and it exploded like a firework. A shape hovered out of the clouds, bringing with it the noise of many rotating propellers. It descended slowly, until it was just above the ground. Swiftfoot saw what it was.
A Dreadnought.
Quickly, Redscale bundled her into it. As she was put into the one place that she never wanted to go, she prayed for Moonchild's safety.

Moonchild lost the spell as he was gagged. He tried to undo it but the spell seemed to be a more powerful one. He struggled.

When she was inside the dreadnought, the gags were taken from Swiftfoot. She was shoved roughly into a cage, and the door was slammed shut. A man, Sky Pirate, with one eye, stared at her through the bars.
"Ain't so high and mighty now, are we?" He chuckled madly. Swiftfoot was terrified, and felt like a caged animal.

*Is it okay to control Rescale?*

An ear splitting raw filled the sky.
Ebony stood proudly on Mythrandear's back. Both human and Dragon showed the deadly look of those that could kill. She glanced at her queen and future king.

"Redscale!" Ebony barked. "You dirty little rat..."
"Come now, that's not nice," he mocked. Ebony smiled slyly.
"I guess it's true what they say, a leopard never changes it's spots!" she muttered dryly.

Redscale laughed.
"You say that as if you were a pure member of the Perinii race!"

Ebony's face darkened, and she leapt from Myth's back. She shot at the Sky Pirate and stopped in front of his face, a dagger's tip touching his throat.

"Don't compare me to filth like you..."

*Yep, be my guest. BE WARNED! Swiftfoot WILL get to the Sky Empire.*

One Sky Pirate had Moonchild backed up against a Dreadnought side. He then started to beat him. He smiled wickedly at Swiftfoot.
"Take a look at your lover because when I'm done with him you won't recognise him!" he then laughed evilly and carried on.

Swiftfoot was forced to watch, and though she muttered many spells and defence spells under her breath, none seemed to work.

*Don't worry, I won't god-mod kill*

"Should I set them on fire?" Myth asked.
"Don't waste your breath on them..." Ebony thought back. She glared at the Sky Pirate with pure hatred. He narrowed his eyes back at her.

"You'd kill one of your own dear Ebony? That's not what your mother expected from you..." he tutted. Ebony dug her nails into his hand.

"SHUT UP!" she screamed. She was losing her temper extreme style...and she couldn't control herself when she got like this. Redscale knew this, and he was bathing in her anger.

Once the Sky Pirate had finished beating Moonchild he turned to Swiftfoot.

As the Pirate began on Swiftfoot, she desperately tried to keep from crying out in pain. After a particularly strong blow to her head, she collapsed. He kept her pinned to the side of the ship with his forearm on her chest, but she was barely conscious.

*Sorry for being stupid but is the Pirate beating Swiftfoot up?*

*Yup, grr...*

Moonchild woke up and saw the Sky Pirate beating Swiftfoot up. He muttered a spell and aimed it at him. He fired it, hoping to hit him.

The Sky Pirate yelled, as the spell hit him in the back. He fell forwards, as though in slow motion, and collapsed. Swiftfoot fell to the ground. Her jawbone had a bruise extending over it and it hurt greatly.

Moonchild cast a spell of recovery on himself. He felt new strength coursing through him. Joints and limbs knitted together and felt as if they hadn't been broken. He then crawled to Swiftfoot and did the same to her.

Swiftfoot blinked slowly. Her eyes felt heavy in her head. She found that she was gazing up at Moonchild. She smiled slightly, but winced as she felt a throbbing yellowish bruise on her cheekbone. Her forehead knotted in confusion.
"Wha...what happened?" She asked him.

"We were betrayed by someone and ambushed," Moonchild said, stroking her. "Rest now. We'll get you home."

Swiftfoots eyebrows shot up.
"Who was it?" She asked softly. She closed her eyes again. The dreadnought behind them had begun to lift slowly into the sky, carrying the Pirates with it. Redscale looked out the side of the machine, and laughed.
"It won't be long now!" He called.
