*Okay, this is based during a war sometime. There's a load of groups of street-urchins, and they're all like rivals. Now something has happened... It could be set present day, but it is not in a foreign country. England. Rubbish at summaries, sorry!
Name: Roxanna Ford
Nickname: Roxie

Personality: Fun, carefree, innocent, loyal
History: Roxie was dumped on the streets as a young child born to a teenage mom. She has grown up in the alleys and has learned to always look on the bright side of life.

Name: Benjamin Murphy
Nickname: Ben. Known to other gangs as Silent Boy or Quet Thief.
Age: 15
Personality: Loyal, thinker.
History: Ben was born mute and so was discarded as a freak. He was given basic clothing and became a thief. He then joined the Alleycats and befriended Roxie. She was the one who taught him how to sign.

Personality:Usually happy,fun,innocent and is never naughty.
History:Her parents died when she was only 1 year old so has never known them,Roxie has looked after her for the past 4 years(hope you don't mind that!)

Roxie hid behind a bin as the second, and hopefully last, bomb was fired high into the sky. It hit the ground some meters away, sending a shockwave through the earth. People began to spill out of the shelters. Roxie darted from her hiding place, and strolled casually through the crowd. She began conversing with a strict old man, haveing first pretended to trip over his foot. While he was deep in lecturing her, she subtly cut his purse. The small velvet pouch dropped into her hand. She slid it into her pocket and dashed away, back to the shelter of her streetgang, The Alleycats.
"Hey team! This is it!" She said excitedly, holding out the moneystuffed purse.

"ooooo,muggy!Yay!"gurgled Ninian,she couldn't say her words properly yet.

"Yup, Ninian, we can get lots with this. One day, I'll teach you to be an ace cutpurse like me!" Roxie said happily.

Ben was beside Roxie in a heartbeat. He lightly tapped her on the shoulder and smiled. Ben was a mute and so couldn't speak. He mostly used sign language or wrote what he wanted to say on a piece of paper.

Hair:dark blond
Eyes: grey
Personalty: kind harted but never says anyhing..ever...

Other: has a strange obseion with being in the dark, probly from years of being alone raly gose into the ligt without his head coverd.
As a child he was bully and freqly lock in dark rooms for hours on end with no food or water. His bullyers once forgot to let him out when they lock him in a old bilding and he was stuck for atlest a day in the dark with bome falling overhead. When they finaly came to free him he was gone.


Sebastian just smiled and sufel back moe into the shelter and pull his coat hoddy over his face. He gasp as the ligt came over his face an ran out to a darker spot mublin to himself.

Ninian was playing with her only toy:a polar bear teddy that she had called Snowflake.

Ben waved to Ninian. He knew her from four years ago. Roxie had taken her in and raised her, with his help.

Sebastian saw the sun had gon behind a cload and dased out to Ben side and sat down to look at the new mony.

Ben waved to Sebastian. Ben knew that Sebastian liked being in darkness but this was one of the only times that Sebastian came out.

<<Are you all right? Nins hasn't been a problem, has she?>> Roxie asked Ben in sign language. She gave the velvet pouch to Ninian to have.
"22...23... Geez, this guys rich!" Roxie exclaimed. She smiled at Sebastian. She liked her gang, even if most of them were outcasts like herself.

"<<No, as good as gold,>>" he signed and smiled. He then showed her something. It was a wallet. He handed it to her.

"Yay!"cried Ninian rubbing the pouch against her face.She snuggled up with it and Snowflake and went to sleep.

Ninian had the best dream ever:she was wandering the streets when someone called her name.When she looked she saw that it was her mother a father!

<<Thanks...did you get this?>> Roxie asked Ben in sign. She opened the wallet. From behind her, there was a war cry.
Xiang of The Bushido's jumped from a rooftop onto Roxies back. He hissed like a cat.

Ben acted fast. He pulled Xiang off of Roxie and swung him away.
"<<Are you alright?>>" he asked Roxie.

<<Yeah..I'm fine.>> Roxie replied.
"Stupid jerk!" She yelled after Xiang.

Name: Sunbeam
Hair: White, long
Eyes: Grey
Gang: Pure whites (music gang- they sing for a living and are very competitive. They live for band play offs, but can turn to athletic violence when pushed or desperate.)
Status: Lead singer, raps and writes lyrics/ best fighter. Almost leader, but isn't strong enough.
Gang status: They practically own the west side.

Sunbeam looked at the alleycats. If only people were intrested in music any more. Her gang's leader had disappeared in a bomb shelter and never returned. She hoped the alleycats were having better luck, but if they crossed the border of her territory, she'd have no choice but to give them a band play off, they'd never forget.

*Yay, I needed a rival gang.*
Roxie heard a sound. She leapt onto a recycling bin and glanced up, watching the borders. She slipped a penknife from her pocket, and flicked out the blade. It wasn't enough to kill, but it could still wound someone pretty badly.
<<Don't move.>> She hissed, signing rapidly.
