Naoki looked at Ninala disapprovingly. He suddenly remembered Shiori.
"Aang, meet Shiori," he said.

"plese to meet you" she smild wiping the ash of her hands, from what she herd the avatar didnt like fire benders much.

Aang smiled and nodded.
"So, Naoki and Ninala, what are you doing with Shiori?" Toph asked.

Shiori just smiled politly and look to Ninala for some help

*Why are we with a fire bender anyway? I thought it was just because we're friends but there must be a better reason... What can Ninala tell the avatar.*

"Er... sorry. I just heard that the avatar was hundreds of years old but that's impossible."

*We're just friends. Maybe Shiori could be one of the only Firebenders that wants to stop the war? What do you think, DQ?*

Naoki smiled.
"Well, we're just glad that you came, Aang," he said.
"You are, why?"
"Because I - we want to join you in your cause," he replied.

"And we know that not all fire benders are bad. We don't want to hurt where violence is unnessary." Ninala had very strong beliefs.

shiori look to aang " i promis im not like other fire benders, I mmay look like them, i even have the marks of one" she pulled down thecloth arond her neck the did it up agan.

" but in my heart I now i never hurt anyone"

Aang still looked mistrustful but Toph came to the rescue.
"Aang, she's telling the truth," she said. "I can feel it."

"I promise" Shiori made a small flame and did a cross in the air over her heart.

Aang looked unconvinced but then smiled.
"Ok," he said. "But if you double-cross us..."

"Then I'll deal with her." Ninala finished. She wasn't afraid of fire benders, being related to several, and she knew exactly what betrayal was like and how to deal with it.

Naoki was shocked by what Ninala had said but knew that Shiori would be betraying her friends if she did double-cross them.

"look, if you dont belive me I just go now!" she aid geting angery and smoke comeing from her hands.

"No Shiori! Please stay!" he said. "It's just difficult to trust Firebenders. But you're not like other Firebenders. You're kind and gentle and wouldn't hurt anyone!"

"i might if you keep thiking im evil" she sighd and look to aang and the others "Im not like them" she smiled

Toph went to Shiori, with the aid of Naoki. She touched her face and clothing. She then stepped back.
"Yep, she's good alright!" she said.

"Never got round how you do that." Ninala said with a smile.

Toph smiled.
"I just know when someone is telling the truth," she said.
"Come on, we have to move. Azula and her cronies or Zuko could be near us," Aang said. "Get on Appa! It's much quicker!"

"What's an Appa?" Ninala sensed movement behind a bush. She could sensed th vibrations through the earth.

"A flying bison," answered Toph. Naoki looked shocked.
"But we can't Earthbend then," he said to her.
"Yea I know. But if I have to get used to it so do you now come on!" she replied.

Ninala tried to remain calm, "A flying byson? Well, can't be the weirdest thing in the world." Her voice was slightly high pitched but she followed everyone and tried to make her fear of heights vanish.

Naoki smiled at Ninala and Shiori.
"Don't worry, we'll be fine. If Toph can do it then so can we!" he said.

Shiori scrached her head at the thoght of a fling bison, it didn't seem posibul bu then again she felt somthing coming.

Ninala was a bit pale and her steps were a bit too calm. She felt sick.
