Gost Wispera

Lilith muttered something and sat down on the ground. She had no idea how long they'd be in there, but if it was longer than an hour she was leaving.
There was a hearty yip and a strange little dog ran accross the churchyard and sat down next to Lilith. It wasn't too hard to figure out it was a ghost.
"Oh. You again." She sighed. "What do you want from me, anyway? How am I supposed to help you if I can't understand you?"

"Right, I am going to get Lilith if I have to drag her through those doors!" Faith stated, marching out of the church. She saw Lilith with a dog. All thoughts of praying dropped away.
"He...wants us to help him. He says something about his mistress, and a bad man." Faith whispered. The dog went crazy at the angels presence.

Lilith grabbed the dog and held him still.
"Bad man?" She asked, looking at the dog. "Well, I once met this ghost kid who wouldn't move on cos he saw his father kill his mother. Maybe it's something like that? Actually, I don't think dog's understand that stuff."

"Maybe...he was drowned by a man... maybe his mistresses husband? Dogs don't understand marriage." Faith whispered.

Lilith tutted sympatheticly.
"I hate people like that." She said. "What'd this cute little guy ever do to him?"

Gabriel concentrated on the prayers. He wondered what Lils was doing. He shortened their names sometimes.

"Well, being an angel, I no longer understand humans, so...you know. Apparently he was a runt."Faith said, humoringly.

Raven tug in gabrils shirt and went outsid, they oln been there half an hour and the oher had alredy left.
Raven saw the little gost dog and smiled "so anyone work out what the mater with him?"

Gabriel followed Raven outside and saw the dog. He crouched down and inspected him.
"Anyone know his name?"

"Apparently he was drowned by a bad man, I think it was his mistresses new man." Faith said, confirming her suspicions.

"i never relly help a animal cross over" raven said scrahing her head. "cant be that difrent" she smild scrachin the dogs head.

Gabriel smiled and stroked the dog's body.

"we beter get to my house to prepar" Raven smild to the dog

Faith picked the dog up. She smiled at Gabriel shyly.
She was still partially human, of course, and was solid. She had feelings for Gabriel, although she knew that they could never be, for at any time, she could be called back. Besides, who wanted an angel with massive wings as a girlfriend? Bit of a turn-off.

Raven walk to her hous but thoght there mst be more to it them a man and his dog. Maybe somebody eles was involed?

Lilith walked next to Faith, stroking the dog from time to time.
"Does he know his name?" She asked. "If not, we'll have to give him -" She stopped. Did she really want to give this dog a name? It wouldn't do any good to get attatched to him.

"might help to now his real name, we find his owner then"

"His name is... Scooby." Faith stated, after a yipping with the dog.

Lilith laughed.
"Scooby? Oh, how original!" She patted Scooby's head. "Well, nice to meet you Scooby."

Gabriel smiled and laughed.
"Hello Scooby!" he greeted. He then turned to Faith. "Can you find out what the owner's name was? Maybe I can research it on the internet."

Faith smiled sadly at Gabriel, trying to force thoughts of a never-relationship out of her head.
"Her name was Margaret Atkinson. She was 33." She confirmed.

Lilith looked a little suprised.
"I know her. Well, not personally, but Tom mentioned her once."
Tom was her little brother.

"You know her? Anything about her?" Faith asked Lilith, glancing at the others.
