Thorn Island

"Cool!" Ichigo said.
Suddenly there was a soft tinkling noise. It was like cat bells. She listned carefully and sighed.
"Acorn." She muttered. "The lake says I have to go to the Festival. So you get what you want, right?"
Sadly, she started floating on her back.

Turnip skipped merrily down the street, waving to everyone who greeted him.
Eventually, he came to a secluded area on the forest edge and fought his way through the thickets.
At the other side of them was a little patch of growing vegetables. Turnip smiled to himself. His little hide away was always so peaceful. Not once had he ever seen anyone here.
Carefully, he bgan tenting to his stock, pulling out weeds and watering the vegetables.
He whistled happily as he went along.

Acorn sighed and looked sad.
"I don't know if I want to go now," he said. "I mean all we do is eat and talk to the other villagers."

cheza noed it was prety boring "we beter go"

Mist climbed onto the grass again and looked at them.
"Well, there's always the dancing!" She laughed. "We can watch everyone make a fool of themselves as they try to dance!"

Acorn laughed as Ichigo mentioned that.
"True," he said. He came out of the water and let the sun dry him. "Thank you."

"true" cheza lagh and stated imating them by twiling andod on the spot

Ichigo giggled at Cheza's immitation.
She pulled a towel from a bush and started drying herself. "Thanks Lake!" She called. "I might come back tomorrow!"
When she was dry and dressed, she started climbing the hill. She didn't care if the others followed. Since she was going to the festival, she had to find something nice to wear.

Cheza ran after stil soking wet and nohig eles to were "come on acorn!" she called and ran back puling his arm.

Acorn got dragged by Cheza.
"I'm coming!" he said. "Ow, that hurts!"

Soon enough, Ichigo was up the hill, through the tunnel, accross the rock and down the tree.
She stood on the forest floor and waited for the others.

"come on" she shoted plafuly almost runing into Ichigo, "sorry" she gigled.

"It's alright." Ichigo grinned. "I really need to go home now, so I'll see you at the Festival later, 'kay? See ya!"
She turned and started running through the forest.
When she was home she took a bath and started looking at her dresses. She needed a really nice one ...

Acorn followed Cheza and Ichigo into the tunnel.
"What are you going to wear to the Festival?" he asked them.

"ok" chaze smild "come on acorn hep me chose an outfit!" and shen puld him to her house.

Ichigo looked for almost an hour. She couldn't find the right dress!!
It was another hour before she found the shoes to match that dress. Then she had to comb her hair and put on a little make-up, not much though. Some mascara, a tiny bit of blusher ...
When she was done she went outside and sat on a bench in her garden.

Cheza ranto her room and look for an oufit, most were qite skipy and not relly sutibl for a formal fastvil.

she dug out a long black fether dres that mach the blac fether in her hair and went out to show acorn and ichigo.

Ichigo had went to Cheza's house, but she hadn't went inside. Once again that wierd fear of being in strange houses stopped her.
She knocked on the door.

**BTW, Ichigo is wearing a short, pale pink dress. Not too short, but quite short**

"what ya think" cheza smild, the black fethers blded wel with her red eyes and deep green hair. "ooh! nice" she said lokin at ichigo.

Ichigo loved Cheza's dress.
"Nuh-uh! You look better!" She said. "So, are we going now?"

"nan, it just soming i fond stuf at the back of my wordrob" she ran outshting the door as her sister sreem at the fact Cheza had got stole dress from her.

"shal we get Acorn?"

"Yeah, let's go see what he's wearing!" Ichigo grinned. She really was curious. She hadn't seen Acorn in dressy-up clothes before. Maybe he'd look good! Or maybe she'd just tease him anyway ...
She ran to Acorn's house and banged on his door.
"Get out here!" She shouted. "We wanna see what you look like!"

*Acorn is going to look sexy alright?*

Acorn heard the door and shouted, "Be with in a minute!" He was wearing a black tuxido and black bow tie. He had made sure that he was dressed smartly. He then went downstairs and opened the door. He smiled at the girls, flashing them a pearly-white smile.
"You look great, you two," he complicated.

** .... okaaaay ...**

Ichigo's jaw dropped.
"Oh my ..." She snorted, and put her hand to her mouth, trying not to laugh. It wasn't really funny. She just hadn't ever seen Acorn like that. She didn't think he was capable of looking like that!
She remembered her manners and said, "Nice Tux. C'mon."
