Family: Mum, dad and Dora - younger sister.

Seth woke up to a bright sunny morning in Icicle Town. He then realised something. Today was the day that he was going to get his first Pokemon! He quickly got dressed and hurried downstairs. Dora was there too.
"Morning Seth!" she greeted pleasantly.

Cloud wandered the streets of Icicle town. She was bored stiff, and freezing cold. She hated the cold.
At least today was a good day. She was getting her first partner pokemon! She shook from excitement and cold. She loved all reptile and dragon pokemon. She flexed her fingers, imagining a pokeball in their grasp.

Once Seth and Dora had finished their breakfast, they got the rucksacks and headed for Professor Nutgrove's lab. On the way, Seth saw his friend Cloud. He waved at her and ran to her, with Dora behind him.
"Hey Cloud," he greeted.
"Hey Cloud," echoed Dora.

Cloud smiled and waved back, at Seth and his sister. She ruffled Dora's hair.
"Hey guys!" She grinned. She glanced at Doc. Nutgrove lab and shivered excitedly. She so couldn't wait.
"I hope..." She trailed off, not knowing what she hoped.

Black wonder arond and wach from a distnc as pepl got there pokemon. She remberd the day she got hers. of corse it wasnt like the doc gave out. she capturd hers.
A huge dragon like thing, Charizard she thot its name was.

Her faher work studing fire pokemon and so she was able to cach him.

"What Pokemon do you want?" Dora asked, as Cloud ruffled her short red hair. "Lombre, that's who I want to get."
"Chikorita," said Seth. He then made his way to Professor Nutgrove's lab.

*HEY DQ! MINE IS CHARMANDER!!!!!!!*

Cloud watched the siblings with an air of envy. She had no family, barely any friends, and wanted a Charmander more than anything.
Cloud walked into Nutgroves lab, leaving the duo behind her.
" Hey Doc." She muttered. Doctor Nutgrove turned to her.
"Ah, Cloud. First pokemon, eh? Are you excited?" He smiled.
"Kinda." She was less excited than she had been, for some reason. The doc. smiled, and turned away. He pressed a small red button on his desk.
Behind Cloud, a huge half-dome appeared. On its round, flat top, were dozens of pokeballs. The professor walked to Clouds side, and put a hand on her shoulder.
"What kinds are there?" She asked in awe.
"All of the three time evolutions and special evolutions. Take your pick." He said, pushing her in the small of her back. She stumbled forwards.
"Here goes nuthin'! " She said, doing a lucky dip.
She reached across the table, for a pokeball. She gripped its hard spherical shape in her fist. On the lid was a teardrop, a flame, a sun, a thunderbolt, and a moon. The pokeball had the name 'Eevee'.

Black smiled at how exsited they were"cute" she said sacstily and made her way down on Charizards back. He didnt mide caring her, after all Black cold hardly walk.
She was the only disaabuld person competing in evnts.

she had anoher pokemon, it was fire ofcorse ninetails. Black didnt let her out much ecept when she was at home or out of sight. ninetails was strong, very strong.
She belong to her father and now Black traind with her.


they came to were a yong boy and girl were, she wach from a distence but gave a wave to the doc who she new well.

Dora waved at Professor Nutgrove before going to the stand. She closed her eyes and reached out for a Pokeball. She felt something within it and opened her eyes. She checked the name. Mudkip. She smiled and did a little jig. It was Seth's turn. Like his sister and his friend, he closed his eyes and reached out for a ball. He opened his eyes and checked the name. Seedot. Seth merely smiled. Professor Nutgrove gave a little wave back to Black before concentrating on the three new trainers.
"Remember to treat your Pokemon kindly. Love and respect them always," he said.

Black rub Charizards neck and he let out a berst of whit hot flames. She lent oher slitly tring to see what evryone got. none look as good as hers.

Dora looked up to see Black and Charizard and waved.
"Hey, Black!" she called. "I got a Mudkip!"
"Heya Black!" called Seth.

Black waved but didnt say hello "help me off Chike" wich was what she nick name him.
Chike lowerd Black down and she walk acwdly with her sticks.

Seth and Dora put the balls in the pockets and ran to help Black. Professor Nutgrove looked at Black and then to Chike.
"I see Chike's doing well," he stated. "How's your father these days?"

That was a sore spot and Black gave a disgrteld look wich ment not to go there.
She walk over to seth dora and cloud. she handed them some strange balls, ther were difrent to the nomal poke balls as these were black/golden.
"there stroger" she said simply.

Professor Nutgrove let it be. Black hadn't been talkative since she was little. He pushed a button and the Pokeballs went away. Dora and Seth looked at the new Pokeballs, fascinating.
"What do they do?" Dora asked.

black roled her eyes "there stroger" seing she wasnt geting throw she rechd to her belt and got out a ball. one with her nintails and one empty.

Ninetails came out waving her long golded fur abot.
"try yours, then mine"

"We don't understand," said Seth. "You want us to show you our Pokeballs?"

*Thanks for waitin'!*

Cloud knew what to do. She transferred the new pokemon, which she hadn't seen, into the black and gold Ultra Ball. Then, she tossed her Ultra Ball high into the air.
"Come on out, Eevee!" She yelled. A little pokemon, a bit like a fennec fox, leapt from the ball. It was brown with a creamy ruff.
"Awwww..." Cloud said happily. She smiled at the pokemon, washing its fur. The prof. walked over.
"Eevee can evolve into five different pokemon. Jolteon, Espeon,Umbreon,Vaporeon and Flareon." He said.
"What are you, some kind of walking pokedex?" Cloud asked, irritated. She smiled at Dora. The eevee sniffed Clouds hand. It refused the pokeball Cloud offered it, and she shrugged.
"Okay. C'mon Merry." She said, standing up. She began to walk away. The prof raised an eyebrow.
"Merry?"
"Yeah. You gotta problem with that?" Cloud asked heatedly. She glared at the four in the room, before leaving. She bumped into the guy next door to her house.
"Hey, Watchit!" She complained.

Finally Dora and Seth understood. Transferring their Pokemon into their new Pokeballs but they came out.
"I guess you don't want to be in there too," Dora said.
"I'm going to call you Pellet," announced Seth. Dora and Prof Nutgrove smiled.
"Cloud, wait a minute," Professor Nutgrove said. He went to fetch three PokeDex and gave the new trainers one each, including Black. "Now off and pack. Your journey has begun!"

"I'm outta here." Cloud couldn't understand why she was being so annoyed or angry. She felt so alone. Merry trotted after her. She didn't bother to pack, instead, she left the town for the Cold Canyon straight away.

*Um...I thought that Seth and Dora could travel with you?*

Seth and Dora ran straight back home, with their Pokemon trailing after them. They quickly packed, said goodbye and left.

*I am getting there!*

It wasn't long before Cloud found herself lost. She sat down and sobbed quietly. Merry licked her face.
"Eevee." He said, comforting her as best as he knew how. A pokemon leapt out of the bushes.
"Seel!" It squeaked. Cloud backed away from it.
Seel. A pokemon usually found in cold places. It has a large spike on its forehead, enabling it to use a qick yet powerful headbutt. The pokedex drilled. Merry barked at it, protecting Cloud from danger.

Dora and Seth journeyed to a different part of Cold Canyon. Pellet was looking at everything in wonder and fascination. They journeyed until they caught sight of Cloud and Merry. There was a Seel. They decided to stay put until Cloud had captured it.

"Uh... Merry, Tackle!" Cloud said. Merry pounced on the Seel, and attacked it. The Seel retaliated with a vicious headbutt. Merry fell to the floor, but got up, determined. He scratched the Seel, and it began to droop. Cloud pulled a pokeball from her belt. She tossed it at the Seel, expecting a fail.
However, it caught it, and fell to the floor. After a moments pause, Cloud whooped with joy, and grabbed Merry. He squealed.
"Oh yeah, Merry, you were great!" She nuzzled the pokemon, and gave him a pokeblock which she had made earlier. He crunched it up happily.

Dora and Seth smiled and ran to Cloud.
"Well done, Cloud," praised Dora. Seth merely smiled and nodded. "So what kind of Pokemon are you going to catch?"
