My Band (open to anyone!)

*Im going to play lead guitar/sing, we need a drummer, base guiterist and singer or just pick something to play *


It was 7:30 in the morning in a small country house a distinct buzzing of elctical guitar and out of tune singing rang out of the thin walls of the cottage garage.
A young teenage girl was strumming away while her band mates sung into the microphone and bashed away at the drums.

"Shot! shot down from the sky.
My is blood spilt, no pain, no guilt.
Wings blackend as this angel dies"

The was a rining from the equipment before silence.
"I..I think we are getting better" Ellie smilled not really beliving herself and placed the black fender guitar down to have a drink before picking it up for another go.

*Can I play singer?If yes my charrie's name is Meg.*

"Well we are getting a little better Ellie..."sasid Meg reasuringly,although it didn't really seem to be helping very much."Don't worry!We'll get better!"she said."Why don't we try again?"Meg asked,getting ready to sing.

Sighing Ellie shook her head before nodding in agreement.
"Why not, we need as much pratise as we can get if we have any hope of even thinking of getting noticed" and started to tune up.

"so, thought of a band name yet?" she asked to Meg and the others, so far they were called simply 'The Band'.

"Nope,I can't think of a name for the band.Sorry Ellie.Anyway,let's try again!"said Meg clearing her throat.

"3,2,1" There was thrashing of heavy metal guitar into followed by the drums as the vibration shook the room.

A instrmental break came in before it was back to Meg and Ellie singing.

*Can I be singer too? I'm Jai-Jai.**

Jai-Jai had gone to get a drink. Singing was hard work and it made your dry up really quickly. He poured himself a glass of apple juice and then went back. He waited for the two girls to finish singing before speaking to them.

*yay! thankies for joining! and can you play something too like drums? so far we just got me playing an istrment lol*

Ellie stoped playing a smiled to Jai-Jai brushing her long hair from her face and waved him over after pressing stop on the background CD.
"ready to sing?" she asked him hoping he would be, he had a good strong voice and the needed him to back up theres.

**Yea sure.**

Jai-Jai nodded and smiled.
"Yea, I'll just finish my drink and then I'm all set," he said. He finished it and set it aside. He then went over to his drum set and picked up his drum sticks.

Instrument: Saxophone*
Kira watched her bandmates quietly. She didn't talk much on the best of days, and even less on normal days. She picked up her sax, and cleared out the neck with a rod. She reinserted the mouthpiece and nodded at Ellie.
"READY." She said quietly. She spoke in monosyllables.

The band continued to play when the phone rang in Ellie house, placing her guitar down she pushed her chair into the hallway and picked it up leaving the others to play.

Soon she came back almost like she had seen a ghost and steard wide eye at the group before speeking. "That was the local radio station, they want us to play at the village fair. Theres going to be a film crew aswell!" she said between gasps of fear and excitement.

*Sorry my posts are so short but I keep running out of things to put!*

"Oh my gosh!Ellie!!That's great news!See,I told you we could do it,didn't I!?!?!?!?"said Meg picking up hr drink of water and taking a swig."We'd better get practicing hard so we're ready for the fair!Come on!"she said,putting her drink down and getting ready.

*Plus,It allways ooks so much more when you're typing it!*

"AWESOME." Kira said. She was pleased, and smiled all the same to prove it. She looked around her. Nothing. She got to her feet.
"WHEN FAIR?" She asked. She hated her way of speaking, but found it terribly difficult to manage more than three words in a sentence. She stooped, and drank some water. Her throat got dry easily, nobody knew why she had chosen the saxophone.

"next saterday" Ellie smiled and claped her hands, it was only a small event but a great start for the band. Now they really needed a name so they could put up posters and tell the raido guys who to put the message to.

*Um where is this set?*

"Come on!Let's get our thinking caps on and think of a name guys!Meanwhile,we should also keep practicing!"said Meg,clearing her throat and taking another sip of water.

*I need to know where it is so I can try and think of a name!Although I have a good one in mind but it needs a certain place as a setting for it to work.I'll tel you it if you want.*

Instrument: Clarinet/ electric guitar

Ilana was really late. She rushed in *I assume it's indoors* and stopped, panting heavily with an electric guitar strap around her shoulder and a clarinet box in her mouth. "Sorry guys. I kinda had to run back and get my reed when I was halfway here."
Her very appearance looked rushed. She was wearing a stylish hankercheif around her neck, it was meant to be wrapped around her head. Her vest was outside her T-shirt and her leans were inside-out. "Have you started without me?"

Jennifer burst in through the door."Sorry I'm late"she gasped.Of course this wasn't unusual for her,in fact this was probaly her best time yet."What happened?"she asked sencing somthing strange in the atmosphere.
