Gone to the Dogs

Lallel licked Robyn. She approved.

Robyn licked Lalell back.Robyn liked her.

*Please don't make it mushy. I hate soppy.*

Lallel decided that the newbie needed some muscle. "Breeze, look, she hasn't got any meat on her bones. Pleeeeeeeaaaase can I take her hunting? You can come too." Lallel asked, respecting the other dog's authority.

Breeze studied Lalell carefully.
"Yeah, okay. I'll come." She decided breezily(no pun intended.)

"Really?You'll...teach me?Thank you!"shouted Robyn happily.

*It wasn't intended to be soppy!*

"Hey, Robyn, don't wet yourself, it's only hunting, rats usually, chicken or bird if you're lucky." Breeze said, raising an eyebrow mockingly.

"I've never hunted before."said Robyn backing away carefully.

*I'm cruel!*

"Come then. There is a field of rabbits for starters near black smoke tower. It's hard to breath though." Lallel stuck her tongue out as she twisted into a leaping jump.

"The field? Yo pushing your luck. Ah, well, those bunnie burgers smell so good right now... Let's go!" Breeze yelped, racing towards the smoke tower in the distance, just visible through the haze of smoke.

"Wait for me!"yelled Robyn,bounding after them.

Lallel looked at Breeze, a challenge in her eyes. It was a game that all young puppies played with their litter, catch the most rabbits to win, but never too many to kill for fun. Just enough to eat.

Robyn was very fast,so she caught up to Breeze and Lallel in no time(luckily).She could tell that Lalle was challenging Breeze.(she does know some things about the streets.)

*As long as she was in a litter, she will know the challenge. Does Robyn know how to hunt?*

*No she doesn't.*

*HA, does Breeze accept?*

*I believe she does.*

"Robyn, watch us first, then I'll teach you properly. Ready?" Lallel asked Breeze politely.

"Am I ever?" Breeze laughed. She walked to a rabbit hole, and sniffed, " There's one here."
She leapt into the air and stomped on the ground. A frightened rabbit shot from the hole.

Lallel took a judged route. In front was a rabbit warren. She knew that they were from one burrow and were just a network of escape tunnels. Pounce on one and a rabbit willl shoot out another. She pounced on one heavlily and a rabbit shot out another hole. She pounced on that hole too. Then another and another until all the holes were colasped. Then ran off to chase the rabbits who had no where left to hide. She'd actually never hunted before but she'd seen owners train there dogs for hunting. There methods were good.

Breeze barked in delight. There were so many rabbits here, enough to keep her boys for years. She raced after a rabbit, and pounced on it. It squealed as her heavy weight broke its back.

Lallel suffocated her third rabbit by clamping it's neck in her jaws. She settled down to eat. "Robyn, try to catch a rabbit! They can't escape!" Lallel wheezed slightly, the smoke was getting to her lungs.

Robyn was very fast and that gave her a large advantage.She ran over and pounced on three rabbits that were all huddled together.She broke their backs and then settled down to eat aswell.She didn't know how she was so good at hunting(she dosn't kno she is so fast)

*By the way, you have to be more experienced to break their backs. Most dogs go for the throat.*

*Ok,broke their throats then!*

*Broke their windpipes! Sorry, very picky.*

"Is everyone full?" Lallel said after she'd taken her fill.
